And the winner of the iPod is...... Cody! There were six guys that saw 30,000 visitors; Dan Trithardt, Cody Harp, Spencer Henderson, Chris Henderson, Nathan Ball and Ryan Floesser. All six names went into the hat and Chris pulled out Cody's name! Congrats Cody! For those of you that missed out we will be giving another iPod away at 40,000.
This week Justin (The Dr.) prepared the Bible study. Justin shared a couple of the stories from the book of Daniel. He talked about how seeing miracles wouldn't necessarily increase our faith. Nebuchadnezzar witnessed more than one miracle and was still proud. (Read the first four chapters of Daniel) Reminds me of a verse.
2Corinthians 5:7 - We live by faith, not by sight.
We gave stickball another try and I think this time the guys started to understand it. Dan D. seemed to catch on a little quicker. We played five innings and the final score was 31(blue team)-30(colored team), the game ended with a triple play otherwise the colored team would have won. It will take a little time but I think stickball is going to become a Btln classic.
We ended the night the the way we always end the night, with Bulldog. Sam S.(The Champ)was in the middle(He is in the middle every second week!)and after some hard work it was down to Parker and Zach. A couple of rounds later Zach had emerged the victor! Good work out there boys! And congrats to Zach!
