15TH BATTALION OLYMPICS

Once again the Btln Olympics live up to the hype! Like every other Olympics from the past there were many different lead changes throughout the night. At least twice during the night I was told that someone had a big lead and that it was probably over. After the night was over it was interesting to look at the numbers and realize that it came down three or four games. Four guys ended within two points of the winner. In the end it was one of the closest finishes we have ever had. Congratulations to Zach Gobbett, the new Btln Olympic Champion! Zach is in grade ten and is the youngest Champion we have ever had. In the past the winner has always been in grade eleven or grade twelve. This begs the question, can Zach become the first three time Champion?
