BTLN UPDATE

 

 

 

 

With four weeks to go Downtown Drew Brown has four wins in the race for Winston! Drew has a one win lead over Devin and Nathan. We started the night at the high school field playing football. The game was alot of fun, it ended in a 7-7 tie. If the game ends in a tie next week I think we will have to go overtime like they do in the C.F.L.. We will give both teams the ball on the 18 yard line with four downs, I don't know why I haven't thought of that before. Wow I hope that we end in a tie, I want to try the overtime! After football we went back to the church and Jeremy did the Bible study on Samson as we continue our series on the Heroes of Faith. Jeremy talked how it is important to pick a good Christian girl, Samson picked three bad girls and they lead him astray. God did alot through Samson's life, but how much more could he have done had Samson picked a good Christian girl. The same could be said for any of the friends that we pick, it is good to have good Christian friends to pick us up when we are down. After Bible study we played B-dog and then went to the Dubber. D-pod, Nathan and Jeremy all tried the 45 second challenge. D-pod went first and actually finished the burger in 45 seconds. Jeremy and Nathan both tried and failed, although Jeremy was really close. Jere tried a second time, and there was a little controversey that ended with Devin wearing Jeremy's hamburger. Next time I think that we will add the wheel of death(invented and named by Charles). You will have to spin the wheel to see which burger that you will have to eat in 45 seconds(Grandpa, Teen, Mozza, Veggie, Momma). Anyways next week we are back at the field playing football so come early, around 6:30. Until next time.
