BTLN UPDATE

 

 
Congrats Josh! First Helmet of the year for Josh! Persistence pays off! Josh was overdue for a win in Bulldog!
 
Two weeks ago Btln was happy to welcome back Devin Chursinoff and this week Nathan Klassen made his return! Nathan spent time in Scotland and in the Ukraine with YWAM! We here at the blog salute you Nathan! Good to have you back Nathan!
 
This week we played Mike 23! Such a good game and a Btln Classic! I would like to call it organized chaos, but it's not! One round the scores go up and the next they go down. First you want to collect the balls and the next round you are trying to get rid of them! All four teams were in the lead at one point during the game, but in the end only one team can win.

Ben was at the helm this week in Bible study. Ben told us that know that we are saved we are to use God's Word as our guide!
 
Romans 13:9-10  The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
 
Romans 13:13-14  Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
 
Romans 5:20-6:2  The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
 
Philippians 4:8  Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
 
We are to clothe ourselves with Christ, love our neighbor as ourselves and dwell on those things that are excellent or praiseworthy!
