P-DUB

Didn't do one of these last week because of the May Long and yah this is the P-dud and not a V-dub, but it's a sweet logo. There is no theme or formula when it comes to picking the passage of the week, my hope is that you will be encouraged, ready for another week.

Galatians 6:9,10 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

1Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Sometimes when you are doing something for God it feels like you are not getting results and it is easy to get discouraged. I wonder how Noah must have felt, he was preaching for 120 years(Genesis 6:3)and the only people that went into the ark with him was his family. The key is to continue working hard and not worry about the results, leave them up to God.

1Corinthians 3:7,8 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.

If we leave the results up to God and remember that our labor in the Lord is not in vain, then we will not get tired of doing good. Remember we are created in Christ Jesus to do good works!
