MIKE NIGHT - BTLN UPDATE

Stevie wins his first Helmet of the year at Mike Night! Congrats Stevie! What's Mike Night you ask? Mike is an amazing game invented by Mike Hughes. The game has changed over the years but the basic ideas were invented by Mike. A Strobe light, a few super balls with blinking lights and this year two lighted footballs are required to play. Everyone is pumped when they see the strobe hanging from the roof of the gym, it is one of the best nights of the year!
Aaron had the guys reading about Jonah in the squad meetings. Aaron pointed out how the people of Nineveh all repented from the greatest to the least and that when God saw that they had turned from their evil ways, he had compassion and did not bring upon them the destruction he had threatened. God wants to do the same for us, we just need to accept his forgiveness!

1 John 1:7 - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

How do we end Mike Night? The same way we end every night,(well almost every night)with Bulldog! Only difference is that we play Bulldog with the strobe!(Drew would be proud!) Bulldog with the strobe can be a little sketchy but isn't that part of going to Battalion? Often when I think of some of the things that we do at Battalion I think of a quote by the Riddler in the movie Batman Forever, "Was that over the top? I can never tell." Anyways Congrats again to Stevie!

Remember your Bibles! This week we had the Btln Baconator for the Random Bible Check, you never know!

Meet the Btln Nation with Sammy J. coming soon!

Don't forget there are TWO more weeks of Battalion before Christmas!
