BTLN UPDATE

Congrats Caleb! This was Caleb's first Bulldog win ever! Caleb has won the Belly Flop Competition two years in a row, so this is his third Helmet of all time! So happy for you Caleb!

With the weather being so unpredictable we moved back to the gym instead of being at the field. So we moved "Pop n Dogs" to the church and we played G*I*T*D Basketball instead of football at the field. When the lights first go out it takes a while for everyone's eyes to adjust to the dark with the gitd Basketballs and glow sticks. At the end we finished the game with first team to five. My team getting destroyed 5-1! The final Basket was from over the half! It was super impressive!

In Bible Study our topic was God's pursuit of us.

Romans 5:6-10   You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

Christ died for us while we were powerless, ungodly, sinners and his enemies! God did not wait for us to choose him! God chose us first!

1 John 4:19   We love him, because he first loved us.

1 Timothy 1:12-16   I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.

Paul's conversion is a perfect example of God pursuing us while we were sinners. (Acts 9:1-6)
