First of all congrats to Nick on his first win of the year! We went old school at Battalion last week, we had a squad competition. We made hot air balloons, the idea was whichever squad's balloon went highest they would be declared the winner. Well they all went so high that it was almost impossible to determine who had won the competition. Every squad was sure that they had won, so we had to declare it a tie. The Bible study was about how Abraham and Moses showed compassion on people(Abraham-the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, Moses-the people of Israel)and how they interceded for these people before God. We talked about how Jesus now intercedes for us, based not only on compassion and grace but also because he (Jesus) has justified us(payed for our sin by dying on the cross)Romans 3:25,26. Remember guys this week is Winter Slam(boxing)so try and come early! It's gonna be awesome! Also the hats should be in so if you ordered one bring your money! I can't wait to see the hats!
