WHERE WE CAME FROM AND WHERE WE ARE GOING.

Well it's almost time to reveal the new Battalion shirts! It's hard to believe, but this is the ninth year! Take a close look at the pictures and you can see the first eight. The Everlast was a hit last year, hopefully this year the shirts will be as good. Will the reveal take place tomorrow? Or do we have to wait another week? Only time will tell.

Battalion Headquarters 1 Year Anniversary

well it is the 1 year anniversary of our Battalion Blog! When I first started the blog i wasnt sure if anyone would use it or like it. but 123 posts and 4,700 visits later shows that it is useful! The blog takes time and work just ask any of the new Battalion Headquarters staff (the imposter, and the capt and any others who post). but it has always been worth the time and effort to get info out and to share in the memories and laughter that we can look back on from this past year! so i hope the blog continues to live on for many more years to come and i hope all you readers still enjoy the blog! The staff at the Battalion Headquarters give a huge salute to all our readers! later dayz

So the pool party was a blast, the cops never came but around fifty guys showed up!With Jordon Walsh gone it was time for somebody else to step it up in the belly flop comp.Many tried but it came down to Owen Knopp and Drew Brown in a playoff,with Drew coming out on top!So as Bulldog would say, we here at the Battalion blog salute you Drew Brown! After the pool(and the grapes)we headed inside for snacks .Later that night Jere and I talked to the guys that we had picked to be Corporals. They are Drew Brown,Steven Feenstra,David Podovinikoff and Nathan Ball with Devin Chursinoff as Sergeant.It was a great night with many more to come!

Ha Ha Ha good times. Were you there last year? If so you'd know this line why don't you come this year and learn a personal joke like this? The pool party is one of the best event's of the year there are tons of good times to be had like the belly flop compition (winner last year jordan walsh) and football in the pool. And who could forget the grapes around the pool? mmmmmmmm Grapes so I hope to see you there!

A tribute to our captain

Well as some of you know it's our captain's B-DAY TODAY so if you see him around give him a dog pile and wish him a happy Birthday instead of a card leave a message to say happy birth day on this post and tell lance how much we enjoy him as a captain and love his loyalty to his lord and his job.

Well It was a great night at battalion last night. And here are the answers to my questions from last night! 1. Kevin Hyashi (or however you spell that) took home the helmet and a candy bar called yorkie (the picture above) which reads it's not for girls 2. there were actually a few new people who showed up not knowing all there names lets move on to number three 3. We had Charlie Langis From Kelowna Show up and Dan treethart (I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SPELL HIS LAST NAME) show up which was cool. well blogging for the third time is the IMPERSANATOR. no thats not right DEVIN CHURSINOFF. no not that either. The Imposter sounds right to me well see ya next week at the pool party (or will I?)

First Night

Welcome Welcome One and all please take a seat the show is about to begin! IT'S THE FIRST NIGHT OF BATTALION!!!!! Anyone excited I certanly am it's about time we started battalion up again. I the imposter will be blogging evrey week to talk to you about up coming event's. Who Will take home the helmet? What new grade eighters will show up? and Which Alumni's Might make an apearnce? THE BATTALION MEDALLION

What is it? Should you wear it?Should it hang from your rearview mirror?How do you get one? This my friends is the Battalion Medallion,should you wear it or hang it from your rearview mirror,it doesn't really matter, it is a badge of honour, a sign of membership.There are two ways to get one.(1)graduation from battalion(grade12). (2)completing the memory work. Actually there are three ways to get the medallion we also give them to honorary members.They are MIKE HERRERA from MXPX,JON FOREMAN from SWITCHFOOT,KEVIN MICHAEL MCKEEHAN(TOBYMAC),TIM ROSENAU from THE DIVERSE CITY BAND,JOHN REUBEN ZAPPIN(JOHN REUBEN),DAN HASELTINE from JARS OF CLAY,STACY "COFFEE" JONES and TERON "BONAFIDE" CARTER from GRITS,PETER FURLER from NEWSBOYS and MARK STUART from AUDIO ADRENALINE. Ben Jepsen(bull dog) was the first to wear the medallion and Jason Hayashi was the one who named it.I'll end with what it represents,the outside ring represents us as a BATTALION and as individuals.The inside represents JESUS ,our goal is to keep him in the center of our lives as individuals and as our central focus as a BATTALION.
